“By being mindful of our consumers and the society’s welfare, we have touched the lives of many with our messages and we are glad to be playing a role in promoting responsible drinking”, said David Onyango, UBL’s Corporate Relations Manager.

“At UBL, doing good is good business and so we will continue to do our part in encouraging responsible consumption of alcohol to adults who choose to drink while discouraging underage consumption”, he added.

Running for the last 5 years, the campaign tackles the issues of underage drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The campaign against underage drinking entails advocacy engagements and evidence driven communications to the youth, teachers, parents, religious and political leaders and local government officials.

The campaign against drunk driving is a multi-media campaign that entails messaging across all media platforms as well actual engagements with the consumers at public events points of purchase and consumption as well as equipping bartenders and bar owners with skills and knowledge on responsible serving.
