The Africa Blockchain Conference 2019 set for July with M7 and Sierra Leone head of state to grace function
CryptoSavannah and the Blockchain Association of Uganda in conjunction with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance will on 3rd and 4th July 2019 host the 2nd Edition of the Africa BlockChain conference at Kampala Serena Conference Center riding on the theme AFRICA 4.0 PREPARING AFRICA FOR THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.
There shall also be a Tech Expo which will be showcasing the leading technology innovations and applications in Africa. This conference is open to public , private sectors , experts abs leaders from Global technology companies, entrepreneurs, innovators, youth and government representatives.
Stanbic bank will be sponsoring the conference and according to Herbert Olowo, the chief Information Officer at Stanbic Bank, the bank is proud to associate with Africa BlockChain because this will not only improve the bank’s banking processes but also reduce their cost to serve .
Julius Torach, the commissioner ministry of ICT said the government is more keen to play its part in shaping the future of the nation .
The conference will be graced by two heads of state that is the President of the Republic of Uganda and the President of Sierra Leone H.E Julius Maada who will deliver a keynote address and a panel discussion thereafter .
