As part of the 2026 Uganda Trade & Investor Roadshow, delegates visited Zigoti Coffee Works Ltd Farm in Zigoti, Uganda, getting a firsthand look at the journey behind Uganda’s Coffee, from cultivation and quality control to processing and the opportunities within the value chain.

The visit highlighted the potential to unlock greater value through investment, innovation, financing and access to markets, while creating more opportunities for farmers and communities.
Zigoti Coffee Works Limited is a homegrown coffee enterprise with roots dating back to 1984, producing and processing Ugandan coffee for local and international markets while working with thousands of smallholder farmers.

The Roadshow organised by Equity Bank Uganda brought together Kenyan,Polland,France Ugandan and Tanzania businesses to explore trade, investment and cross-border partnerships.
The delegations slso visited RZ Innovations, manufacturers of Automobile tyres, packaging materials for foods and beverages then left a foot print at Uganda’s steel roofing group at Namanve Industrial Park.
According to Mark Ssempijja the General manager RZ Innovations, manufacturers of Automobile parts like brakes and tyres the investment climate is fair but faced with power fluctuations and poor roads that have led to high costs of production.
