    For the uninitiated out there, Tusker Malt has created the chance for non-golfers to take a glimpse into the world of golf.

    The title sponsor of the ongoing Tusker Malt Uganda Open that is happening at the Serena Lake Victoria Golf Resort & Spa in Kigo is bringing the miniature version of the game to select hangouts in Kampala.

    This is aimed at interesting more people to take up the sport.Last night, the premium beer brand brought the greens to Gabz Lounge, Bugolobi. It was a sip and swing affair as folks attempted the miniature golf games set up at the venue over lots of laughter, music and banter about the golfing sport.

    The highlight of the night turned out to be the putting challenge miniature set up which attracted many of the first-timers who took great pleasure in putting the golf balls, surprisingly with most being more successful than those who had previously held a golf club.

    “Many people have the misconception that golf is an old rich man’s game. We are demystifying this notion by making the game more accessible to our consumers,” shared Mark Ethan Kamanyire, Tusker Malt Brand Rep.

    Last night, Fusion Eco Resort, Munyonyo was the perfect location for thrill seekers to unwind and relax as Tusker Malt Band Nights with Cindy ushered revelers into the second half of the year.

    The night started off slow and easy. Band Cindy entertained a full house of guests and partiers for the opening start of the evening with slow melodic tunes to kick off the stress from the day’s activities.

    Their first set featured lots of instrumentals and covers which later switched into lively upbeat songs that warmed the crowd up for the main act, Cindy aka the King Herself.

    Being a Friday, the “Boom Party” dancehall artist started her night off with a flashback ‘blast from the past’ Nsanyuka Naawe, a song that many clearly held dear to their hearts as they sang along.

    Clad in a black leather jacket and racy shorts, the star of the night owned the stage and delivered an electrifying performance for her guests.

    The King Herself went on to entertain her fans with an epic all-nighter switching it up from love ballads to reggae and dancehall like Still Standing, Sample Dat, Onina, Pull Up On Mi Bumpa, which got fans excitedly on their feet as they kept begging for more and more of her performance.

    Band Cindy performed for more than two hours, only exiting the stage when their guests had had more than enough and were ready to retire.

    Jose Chameleone’s controversy is as famous as his musical talents, with one of his most recent tabloid fodder being his enigmatic long-distance relationship with his spouse, Daniella Atim.

    “It is a big challenge to be in a long-distance relationship, it is not easy by the way,” he reveals.

    He discloses these intimate details in a promo clip for the forthcoming edition of Tusker Malt’s popular YouTube musical property, Tusker Malt Conversessions, to which he is to play guest.

    The self-proclaimed musical doctor has however disclosed details on how he keeps the glue together in his marriage to Daniella, noting that it is the mutual trust both parties have in each other.

    “My wife trusts me; I also trust her. Has any of us remarried despite being miles apart? This is because love builds trust,” he reveals.

    Chameleone was on Monday confirmed as the sixth talent to headline the Tusker Malt Conversessions with his episode succeeding his protégé’s, RnB maverick, King Saha.

    Chameleone’s episode is to be premiered this Sunday, 6th March, 6:00pm on Tusker Malt’s official YouTube Channel.

    Entebbe: The Singleton Challenge, known for its gruelling golf and luminous 19th hole experiences, made an enthralling return to the social scene as it held its qualifying round to mark the start of the sixth season at the Entebbe Club on Saturday.

    The day with tee-offs that started as early 7am, saw over 220 players go head-to-head on the green and ended with a riveting Vegas-themed 19th hole experience that turned the Entebbe Club into a fully-fledged Vegas spot with lights, luxury and of course Singleton.

    The night was hosted by comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi and there was entertainment from Lilian Mbabazi and her Sundowners band.

    Speaking at the event, UBL’s Head of Spirits, Rhona Namanya, congratulated the 64 pairs that qualified for the match play challenge slated for February 12.

    “ I congratulate those that have made it to round one of the series and I thank all golfers who take part in the Singleton Challenge. Your participation has helped make it the biggest golfing event in the country, “said Namanya.

    Started five years ago, the Singleton Challenge is a good mix of sports and entertainment which explains its runaway success.

    At the event, Namanya pledged that Singleton is in it to support the tournament for the long haul.The Challenge is played in a four ball better ball format, with pairs having to knock out their opponents to progress to the next round.

    The winners of this year’s Singleton Challenge will be rewarded with a fully paid trip to a major golfing tournament in Dubai come January 2023.

    Tusker Malt Lager’s online music property, Tusker Malt Conversessions, is set to kick-off its 2022 episodes with an edition by RnB crooner, Allan Toniks.

    Born Allan Ampaire, Toniks will be the fourth artiste to grace Tusker Malt’s premium musical experience with initial editions headlined by Winnie Nwagi, Naava Grey and GNL Zamba respectively.

    A Toniks headlined edition comes as an interesting development for the show’s growing viewership as the crooner seamlessly blends in with the acoustic themes in which the show is rooted.

    Toniks is expected to raise the bar as he boasts one of the most illustrious RnB catalogues in Uganda’s music industry.

    Toniks’ ballads are anticipated to be interspersed with conversation, questions and answers to the various themes of his life that have often made tabloid fodder.

    Allan Toniks is widely celebrated as one of the new-school faces of RnB, both locally and across the borders, previously collaborating with superstars such as Zambia’s Roberto, Radio and Weasel, plus Slick Stuart and Roja.

    Afro-soul crooner Naava Grey is as famously popular for her soulful music as she is for maintaining a private life.

    The 2008 Tusker Project Fame semi-finalist has finally come out to reveal intimate details of her experience having fallen for an older man as a teenager, with the relationship resulting into a child.

    According to Grey, the relationship was a result of unconsciously trying to find a father figure in her life.This revelation is a snippet of a deeper conversation that will premiere this Sunday as a sequel to the debut episode of Tusker Malt’s online musical property, Tusker Malt Conversessions.

    Naava discloses that her “daddy issues” stemmed from her family setting.“My father had more than one wife and it was hard. When I got out (of home) I was looking for a father figure, but I didn’t know I was looking for a father figure. I thought I was looking for a boyfriend,” she reveals in a promo clip for the show that is circulating online.

    Naava Grey made these revelations as a part of a greater conversation about the challenges that helped her develop the thick skin that helped her overcome greater challenges that she was yet to encounter in the music business.

    The entire episode of these and more revelations from Naava, interspersed with performance of her melodic music goes live on Tusker Malt’s official YouTube channel this Sunday November 7.
