    Buziga based STV Uganda, an entertainment and youth station can now be accessed through Digital giants StarTimes Uganda. 
    The station’s owner Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga told this website last night that STV Uganda can now be reached on Channel 235 on StarTimes.

    “Official channel for STV Uganda on StarTimes is 235, #select4fun,” SK Mbuga posted.

    Newest television in town STV Uganda has introduced a Saturday night dance party, we can confirm.

    The party dubbed ‘STV Mix Party’ will be hosted by DJs Bash and Lennox.

    The party will start at 10pm till dawn every Saturday.

    STV Uganda is based in Buziga and is owned by tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga.

    SK Mbuga gives government 40 tonnes of food for COVID-19 relief

    City tycoon and property mogul Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga has come out to the rescue of Ugandans by donating 40 tones of food to government to be given out to Ugandans in the wake of COVID-19 global pandemic.

    The tycoon said at the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you have accomplished but also about who you have lifted up, who you have made better.

    “It’s about what you have given back, let us help each other is such situation because there is need to,” he said.

    Mr. Mbuga gave 40 tonnes (40,000kg) of maize flour to the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) towards helping people who have been affected by the coronavirus shutdown in the country.

    The food was donated through his SK Mbuga Foundation and STV Uganda. He handed them on Saturday to Anti-Coronavirus National Taskforce Team.

    He pledged to continue giving more assistance towards the needy.

    Mbuga appealed to Ugandans to heed President Yoweri Museveni’s advice on how to avoid the disease from spreading.

    He said the President exhibited a humble gesture and showed love to Ugandans by coming out to make immediate interventions to save lives.

    “We must listen to the President’s advice of keeping a social distance and washing hands using water and soap or sanitizers all the time,” he said.

    “After analyzing the critical situation in the country, I decided to donate food to save fellow Ugandans affected by this shutdown,” he said.

    The loaded tycoon who owns STV Uganda, Sky Apartments, hospital and a host of other property in Kampala said he was trying to look for means of using Mobile Money to send to some families especially the neediest.

    “I’m just waiting to see whether it will work out to send some Mobile Money to some families so that more people can be helped out,” he said. Big up to you Mr. Mbuga for that good gesture.

    SK Mbuga injects money into Youth Power Uganda Charity Walk

    Tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga has injected money into Youth Power Uganda organised ‘Charity Walk’.
    The tycoon will on top of that of giving them UGX 4m, help them to push the event through STV Uganda Tv station and his social media platforms.

    The charity walk is on Saturday 4th April at Makerere University’s Freedom square.
    The Guest of honor is expected to be Speaker of Parliament Rt.Hon Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.

    Youth Power Uganda has been in existence for two years. Its is a non political and non profit organization focused on Youth Empowerment with an emphasis on drug abuse awareness and prevention. It’s Patron is Ass. IGP Andrew Sorowen and Chairperson is Gashumba Derrick.
     University students, Secondary Schools students and all ghetto members from all over Kampala are expected to participate in the walk.

    The new Television on the airwaves, STV Uganda, is here to compete on the region level, acccording to the owner SK Mbuga.

    The station mostly targets the young generation with exciting programs for the young generation.

    Mr. Kabangala Mbuga Sulaiman told this website that to do this, they will mostly employ the youths trained at the station and by the station.

    “We want to change the mindset of the youth and help them work hard,” SK Mbuga said.

    The station has hired expertise of producer Washington and other experienced Ugandans for the technical bit of it.

    SK Mbuga said the station will be officially be launched around April this year and wants it to have in the whole of East Region and beyond. The station will be fully available all satellite televisions on DStv, StarTimes, Azam, Zuku and others. And it’s already on GOtv.

    Tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga is back with a bang and we have learnt that he is soon opening TV station with his wife Jalia Mbuga.


    The station will be called ‘Select 4 Fun’ and will be a mix of entertainment and education programmes to teach entrepreneurship to the youth and inspire them.

    He  also said he set up the station to provide youths with jobs.


    The tycoon was in jovial mood over the weekend after setting up everything including the branding materials.


    He was spotted relaxing at Speke Resort Munyonyo with a team branded in Select 4 Fun attire.

    Unlike many socialite tycoons who are just known for splashing cash in bars, Mbuga is developmental and he already has a hospital project to his name.

    Mbuga said it’s a whole new TV setting which will add something amazing to the TV industry.

    Construction works at Nu-Shifah Hospital in Kiwempe Makindye have resumed after the proprietor Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga was set free. 
    SK Mbuga told this website that the works at the hospital site have resumed. The tycoon said he is extremely happy to be back to doing his businesses. The general hospital when complete is likely to cost him $4m.

    Tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga has started from where he left after winning case against fraud. 
    Weeks after returning from prison, tycoon popularly known as SK Mbuga has resumed his business and is these days seen with business associates.
    He was also spotted at KCCA physical planning section trying to secure approved plans for some of his new buildings.
    “I’m not a fool, but I pretend to be a fool , in order to fool the fool. And just when the fool thinks I’m a fool, I will expose the fool and show him he is the fool. No time to waste,” SK Mbuga said.
