    Mbarara City NRM Cup set for November at Kakyeka Stadium

    The Coordinator of Sports at the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) of NRM, Mr. Seth Murari is set to host Mbarara City NRM Cup.

    The day’s activities will have football games, Volleyball and Bicycle Racing starting from 2:00pm on November 9th. The games will feature teams from Mbarara City North Vs Mbarara City South.

    According to Mr. Seth Murari, before the NRM Cup, there will be Mbarara City Intervasity Guild’s Cup from 11:00am. This will see teams from MUST, MUBS, BSU and USJM compete against each other. Medals will be awarded for a winner from each group plus a goat and trophy.

    The games will be presented by The Office of the NRM and sponsored by the Director of Sports and Games at ONC. Entrance to these games is totally free. There will be lots of entertainment and performances from top Mbarara City singers including T Paul aka Kakoba Boy.

    The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) for NRM chief, SPA Hadijah Namyalo, at the invitation of NRM District Woman MP candidate for Sironko District Hon. Mafabi Aisha Nabulo, stormed Sironko District yesterday in high spirits for a community empowerment initiative involving wealth creation items.
    A massive crowd gathered in Sironko yesterday as SPA Hajjat Namyalo energized supporters for President Museveni and NRM candidates including the Sironko District Woman MP seat hopeful and NRM Flag Bearer Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo who organized Namyalo’s visit.

    The momentum on the ground makes a 2026 victory for President Museveni and Mafabi Asha Nabulo look increasingly certain.

    The event, which drew thousands of residents from all corners of the Elgon sub-region, was marked by the distribution of 100% free start-up tools to beneficiaries.

    These included welding machines, Tailoring machines, brick laying machines, hair dryers, popcorn machines, farm inputs for planting such as onions, tomatoes, spray pumps, cabbages and other income-generating equipment aimed at improving household incomes and advancing the ONC’s agenda of grassroots empowerment.

    Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo, the NRM flag bearer and incoming Woman Member of Parliament for Sironko District, thanked SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye for spearheading the empowerment outreach and for bringing life-changing start-up tools to the residents. She also expressed gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for fulfilling his pledges to the district, including infrastructure development, women and youth empowerment programs, and other community-focused initiatives.

    Ms. Nabulo pledged her full commitment to supporting President Museveni’s vision and the NRM government, urging residents to consolidate their support behind the ruling party and its flag bearers. She appealed to the people of Sironko to desist from backing opposition politicians, whom she said have consistently failed to deliver tangible services and often work against the interests of the community.

    “I promise to work hand in hand with President Museveni and our NRM leaders to ensure that Sironko continues to benefit from development programs. I urge every resident to support our flag bearers and reject those who oppose progress,” she said, receiving cheers from the crowd.

    Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo is set to be officially nominated on October 23rd to officially begin her quest to represent Sironko District in the 12th Parliament come 2026.

    ONC’s Namyalo back from South Africa after opening office to assist Ugandans

    The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo, has returned to Uganda after a successful working visit to South Africa. The trip, part of her ongoing mobilisation efforts for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), focused on strengthening ties with Ugandans living in the diaspora and rallying support for the party’s development agenda.

    While in South Africa, Hajjat Namyalo inaugurated a fully equipped legal office to serve Ugandans residing there. The facility, staffed with qualified lawyers, will provide free legal assistance to community members facing various challenges. According to Hajjat Namyalo, many Ugandans in South Africa encounter difficulties such as workplace discrimination, xenophobia, and other legal hurdles that hinder their safety and well-being.

    “The NRM believes in protecting and empowering all Ugandans, wherever they are,” she said during the launch, emphasising the importance of standing in solidarity with citizens abroad. She urged Ugandans in the diaspora to remain united, support each other, and stay engaged with the development programs back home.

    Her visit also featured meetings with community leaders, youth groups, and professionals to discuss opportunities for investment and collaboration between Uganda and its diaspora. Participants welcomed the legal office as a much-needed intervention and commended Hajjat Namyalo’s commitment to addressing their concerns.

    Hajjat Namyalo’s South Africa mission has been hailed as a step forward in strengthening NRM’s relationship with the diaspora, while also reinforcing the government’s dedication to the welfare of all Ugandans, both at home and abroad.

    The National Coordinator Office of National Chairman (ONC) SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo has urged religious leaders to shun politics of disunity and work together for socio-economic transformation of their lives.

    She made these remarks while addressing the Makindye-Ssabagabo Inter Religious Leaders retreat at Gangu Muslim P/S. “Avoid politics of division, let us work together and develop our nation,” she said.

    In related development, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo contributed UGX 5m towards Grace High School infrastructure development fund as she commissioned newly constructed Multipurpose Hall named “Rev Trevor Stevenson”. She pledged to return with capital items to support students and staff.

    On the same day, the Chief Muzzukulu SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye also paid a courtesy visit to members of “Old is Gold”, an investment club in Wampewo, Wakiso. The club has over 250 subscribers with former Kyadondo East Mp Hon Sitenda Sebalu as the Club patron. She encouraged them to continue with the spirit of savings.

    The Coordinator for Sports and Games at the Office of National Chairman (ONC) of NRM, Mr. Seth Murari, has been hailed for promoting unity through sports and games.

    This was after he organized Mbarara NRM Cup yesterday at Kakyeka Stadium between leaders and traders of Mbarara.

    As a way of Promoting Unity in Mbarara, the National ONC Sports Coordinator Mr. Seth Murari organised a match between the NRM Leaders and the Traders of Mbarara where the Leaders emerged the winner with 1:0. The match created unity among the people of Mbarara.

    Seth was hailed for the organizing the uniting event.

    “Sports unite masses above their differences. Thank you Seth Murari for this big job being done,”.

    Seth Murari hailed the people for supporting NRM government and called on them to continue #TovaKuMain2026.

    Ever since joining ONC, Seth Murari has been instrumental in promoting sports and games across the country.

    Chief Muzukulu Hadijah Namyalo updates her yellow book status

    The Office of the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement ( NRM) Head Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has updated her status in the yellow book ahead of the 2026 general elections.

    This was on Friday at Goodwill Village, Kabalagala. This action showed examplorary leadership from her.

    From Kabalagala, Hajjat Hadijah proceeded to Entebbe where she took part in the supervision process at the mayor’s gardens.

    Earlier in the day, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye spent the day monitoring the activity in areas of Nankulabye Kiyaaye, Mackay Mengo, Kiwatule, and Kibuli in Kampala.

    NRM is currently updating their registered in preparation for the 2026 General elections.
