    “I am not interested in politics but only music and fighting for our country music copyrights” – Mpiima Johnson

    Mukono based singer Mpiima Johnson commonly known for music production and contents creation has revealed that  he is not interested in politics but focusing on his music career and supporting the music copyright law act.

    Following his tweet  ‘’politics is a dirty game, it has taken several lives especially on the side of the opposition, in 2021 elections many lives were lost now it’s our music collapsing turn, let’s focus on growing our music industry and fighting for our music copyright law releasing’.
    The singer advised fellow country musicians to focus on their music growth and leave divisions and politics aside.
    “We are not earning from politics so i don’t see why we should get involved, let us go slow on that game,” he added.
    His call comes as several singers are divided over support of copyright law and the new Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) led by singers Eddy Kenzo and Sheebah Karungi.

    As it celebrates three years in Entertainment and Music industry as a Record label, MPM Media Ltd has appreciated its Long time musicians including ‘’Mpiima Johnson’’ and ‘’Philly K’’.

    This was done on a party that also included the welcoming of new signed Artists on board at freedom city Kampala Uganda.

    MPM Media Ltd was started and Launched in 2020 by MPM Group, The Label had no musical artists and in 2020 it signed Mpiima Johnson as its first Musical Artist.

    The Artist was commonly known for content creation including Acting in entertaining and music videos and songs writing but the Record Label found interest in him and later signed him as its Musician, Song writer and Performing Artist.

    In 2022, it signed and welcomed another new Artist known as Philly K, This Artist was commonly known for back stage performance and dancing.

    In May 2022, MPM Media found interest in him and welcomed him as Musician, Producer and a songwriter.

    Today, MPM Media Ltd has increased in numbers as it recently signed new talents on board.

    Mpiima Johnson sends Bulika Mukono show Grounds into rupture in ‘Tek You Out’ concert

    Mukono, Bulika road was a beehive of activity as singer Mpiima Johnson alias Mpiima Music held his first-ever concert show dubbed ‘Tek You Out’ at Mukono show grounds last evening.
    The show was a huge blow out as the venue was packed-out from start to finish as several local musicians joined him to have a memorable concert.
    The gates opened at around 5 pm and fans started flooding the venue as DJs and other upcoming artists kept them on their feet.
    Among the established artists who majorly rocked the show was Philly K and other that put up a spirited performance, among others until around 11:30 pm.
    Mpiima Johnson then stepped on stage and performed on a semi-live band as he treated his fans to some of his hot jams which included Tek You Out, Omukwano, Awanna Love until around 12:30 am.
    The fans recommended Mpiima Johnson’s performance saying he lived up to his billing. The show was organized by MPM Media Ltd.

    Who is Mpiima Johnson
     Born on 12th December 1995, Johnson is a Ugandan Music Singer, Writer, Actor and Producer. He sings in Luganda, English. He is also known as Mpiima Music.
    He is an African man who comes from the family of Mr Nachos Mpiima and Mrs Namale. He has only six siblings. Her father is a businessman and the same applies to mother.
    He grew up in Namasuba, Ndejje, one of the commercial towns in Kampala. As a youngster, He aspired to be a Musical Artist and had a great admiration for Eddy Kenzo, one of the successful Artists.
    Career
    In 2018, He joined the Music industry of which the journey wasn’t that easy for him. Later after trying his level best in the studio, he dropped some of the Tunes and they were distributed on different music platforms which gave him fame and popularity on social media.
    And currently he is one of the inspiration growing Artist and Entertainment writers on different social media pages such as Mpiima Media and also former Grenade Music content poster/publisher.
    He’s currently one of the inspirational youths in society because of his life changing story that he could share with anyone when met in person.
