    Golola Moses, Sanyuka TV strike deal for special workout show

    Many of us know the benefits of regular exercise but have either been lazy to start working out, or too busy. The good news is that Sanyuka TV, one of the most-watched Luganda channels on the StarTimes platform, now gives you the opportunity to start your workout plan or continue your workouts on a daily basis.

    In a daily show hosted by famous kickboxer, Moses Golola, viewers are now participating in workouts, a power challenge, and diet tips, all geared towards a healthier life.

    The show, dubbed “Kakole ne Golola,” features celebrities, CEOs, and other high-profile personalities who join Golola daily for workout sessions via remote conferencing service, Zoom. The show runs from 6:30am to 7am every day for the duration of the lockdown period.

    The lockdown period had previously seen many Ugandans swarm the roads for evening jogs, something that was strongly condemned by health professionals and President Museveni because it violated social distancing principles. Museveni went on to encourage Ugandans to work out in their homes, even releasing his own home workout video. Golola’s workout show on Sanyuka TV now comes to guide Ugandans through this.

    “Kakole ne Golola” is only the latest addition to an already great lineup of Sanyuka Tv programming, which is primarily sport and entertainment program. Shows such as Big Deal (Ssenga Nantume & Leila Kachapizo), Music Taxi (Mukunja & Aliyah) Uncut (Zahara Totto & Ozie), Morning Express (Hatma Naluggwa Ssekaya, Kays and Brian Wako), The Wardrobe (Irene Naava), Lunchtime Sports (Baker Kigogo, Michael Kigozi & Solomon Ssaka), Endiba Yaffe (Pius Serugo, Martin Kaddu & Joel Muyita), The Bench (Baker Kigongo), among others, are part of their exciting lineup.

    Sanyuka TV are also the official broadcasters of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, as supported by MTN.

It is his last chance to prove to the world that he can really defeat all his key opponents. To prepare himself for the task ahead, Golola fasts, prays and trains for 90 days.

    The biggest physical fitness programme in Uganda-Lucky’s Groove Back returns this Saturday at MTN Arena Lugogo starting at 3pm.

    Pioneered and hosted by Lucky Mbabazi, the program has grown in leaps and bounds from the 1st edition that was held in March this year. At the launch of the programe early this year, Lucky promised that there would be four (4) editions every year and so far, two have been held, with the 3rdhappening tomorrow (Saturday 7thSeptember 2019). The fourth edition and year finale will be held in December.

    Speaking at the press conference to announce the 3rdedition, Lucky said she was impressed with the response the programme has received so far and promises a bigger experience, “the way Lucky’s Groove Back has been received is amazing, it’s so motivating to see that people now appreciate physical fitness more and are willing to take better care of their bodies. From the two editions we have had, I can proudly say that the impact has been felt and I just can’t wait for this 3rd edition,” she said.

    Participants will be treated to different fun-filled work out sessions conducted by the best instructors in the country. “We will have the best of Zumba, aerobics, yoga, and this time we are joined by two kickboxing Champions Golola Moses of Uganda and Patricia Apolot as guest trainers, so it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Lucky said.

    The sessions will start at 3pm and participants will pay 20,00 shillings only. There will be lot’s of goodies to giveaway courtesy of the sponsors of the event-Bata, Nootri Africa and Nivana water.

    Jack Pemba puts UGX 200m for Semata Vs Golola rematch

    Tycoon and socialite Jack Pemba has said he is ready to pay UGX 200m to have Umaru Semata Vs Moses Golola fight again.  
    The two kick boxers tussled it out on Saturday night at Freedom City with Moses Golola coming on top.
    After the defeat to Semata, Jack Pemba wasn’t convinced and he wants a rematch sponsored fully by Pemba Sports Africa.
    “ I have put 200m for the rematch. We can’t allow Golola to defeat Semata like that. I will give Semata UGX 25m to go to Switzerland and train for the rematch,” Jack Pemba said.
