    Miss Uganda unveils 26 Finalists in a Night of Glamour & Entertainment live on StarTimes Makula KiKa

    Kampala: The Sheraton Kampala Hotel was the epicenter of elegance and celebration on Friday, 15th August 2025, as the Miss Uganda Presentation Night delivered an unforgettable showcase of beauty, talent, and culture.

    Broadcast live on StarTimes Makula KiKa from 6:00 PM, the event officially introduced the 26 finalists who will join the boot camp as the competition for the crown gets hotter. Guests were captivated by a dazzling mix of pageantry and performance, featuring live music from VIPI Band, soulful melodies by Tracy Mellon, and an electrifying set from An Known.

    “The Presentation Night is always a defining moment in the Miss Uganda calendar,” said Isma Lule, Marketing Director StarTimes. “This year’s finalists embody the grace, ambition, and cultural pride we stand for, and we are excited to watch their journeys unfold.”

    The evening attracted distinguished guests, former Queens, fashion industry leaders, enthusiastic fans, Media fraternity and sponsors representing V&A, Vaseline, Xiaomi, Entikko, Uhome, Mbale Industrial Park, Reach A Hand Uganda, Sheraton Hotel, Print Creations, Kiira Motors, NRG, Lapaire and Lead sponsor Tianao Furniture who all gathered to witness the first major milestone in the search.

    With the final contestants now revealed, the competition enters its last phase — a series of public appearances, community service initiatives, and talent showcases — leading to the Grand Finale that will take place on 20th Sept 2025 of which the winner will represent Uganda to Miss World.

Uganda is blessed with exceptionally talented and charismatic young women, and selecting just 26 finalists was an incredibly difficult task.” Said Kenneth Kazooba Vice President StarTimes.

    “Since we became Producers and Broadcasters in 2023, the Miss Uganda pageant attracted new audiences and new partners which has added significantly to the popularity of the pageant in the different regions of Uganda.     The Search for Miss Uganda 2025 has kicked off!

    Kampala: The much-anticipated journey to crown the next beauty queen was officially launched on 05th May, 2025 at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel Kampala. This year, the Miss Uganda pageant brings together stunning and ambitious young women from all six geographical regions of Uganda, each vying for the coveted crown and the chance to represent the country on the global stage.

    The competition promises not just beauty, but poise, intellect, and purpose-driven ambition. In a groundbreaking move to reach more audiences, the entire search and competition process will be televised, bringing the glamour, excitement, and stories of the contestants to screens across the nation. The show will air exclusively on Makula KiKa, on StarTimes platform every Friday to Sunday starting 27th June 2025 at EAT 8:00PM.

    At the same function, it was revealed that reigning Miss Uganda, Natasha Nyonyozi will be leaving on 7th May for the Miss World competition in India. It will be recalled that former Miss Uganda, Hanah Kalema was runners Africa and finished 8th overall at the world event.
