    The Black Wall Street (BWS) and Africa’s first Economic War leader Charles Lambert is at it again to prepare Africa’s readiness to economic war.

    The leader of Africa’s first Economic War has said he is prepared to prepare one million Ugandan youths to physically travel across Africa building President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s Agriculture Bank and Development Centers.

    He predicted that this M7’s last election and said Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba will not lead in the system he was ever prepared for.  He said the first son is prepared to lead in full implementation of organised orders.
    “This is M7s Last Election.  Muhoozi Will Not Need to Lead in this kind of system he was never prepared for. He is prepared to lead in full implementation of Organized Orders. I prepare one million Ugandan Youths to physically travel across Africa building the M7 Agriculture Bank and Development Centers. The Supermarket Policy buildings, the Warehouses, the phone Factories, the elderly care homes and much more. Work was intense this week.     M7 on launching Atiak Sugar Factory

    Last evening, President M7 commissioned Atiak Sugar Factory in Amuru District. The factory is owned by entrepreneur Amina Moghe Hersi, while government holds 41 percent shares through the Uganda Development Corporation.

    For a country to industrialise, it needs the following; labour, natural resources, capital, knowledge and entrepreneurship. The last group refers to people who have the spectacles to see opportunities which others do not see. Our stock of entrepreneurs in Uganda is growing.


    And once a factory is in Uganda, it’s a Ugandan factory irrespective of ownership. I hear some Ugandans talk of Indian factories, those are in India not Uganda.

    Previously, some people in Acholi were opposing these developments. This is terrible. Why would you reject progress? When I passed here in 1968, all I saw was grassland, fit for grazing cows. Then Amina Hersi came with different spectacles and here we are.

    You saw me hold a bag of sugar in the factory there. That is Atiak sugar. There is Kakira, Lugazi, Kinyara and now we have Atiak sugar. This factory adds to our capacity to produce sugar for internal consumption and export.

    This factory employs 2,000 workers and impacts on more than 20,000 people and their families. The neighbours who have sim sim, malakwang, potatoes and other things have got market for their goods from the factory workers.

    In Rwakitura, I sell a litre of milk at Shs600 yet my friend Prof Nsibambi, who had a farm near Kampala, would sell at Shs1,200 because he had a big market.


    Therefore, when you get a factory like this, please support it. Even if it does not directly employ you, there are many spill-over benefits. The nearby shops, schools, and other facilities will all benefit.

    For Atiak, we are using outgrowers as the fulcrum. Much of the sugarcane will be grown by our people here. Each of these families will have five acres ploughed and planted for them by the factory. The families will look after the cane and will each earn Shs18 million after 18 months.

    The Government will continue to support this project. Amina Hersi took me to River Aswa and explained how the people of Lamwo are growing so much sugarcane but have to move 175km to bring it here, yet if we build a bridge, they would only move 36km and be at the factory.

    The bridge will be built so that the part of the project which is on the Lamwo side will be directly linked with the one on Atiak side. This will save the money of the farmers in transport.

    I thank the people of Atiak and Lamwo for making Africa proud because they have showed that even rural areas can receive the message of development and are able to reject the message of liars and malicious leaders.

    I thank Amina for being a freedom fighter, she is like her uncle Museveni who does not give up even when I am abused. If they could abuse Jesus, the son of God, who am I not to be abused? But Jesus had a mission and was not deterred even when he was abused. He fulfilled his mission. That’s the same with me – M7 said.

    Museveni says NRM members not on register should be allowed to vote in primaries

    President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is also the chairman of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has said that all members of the party irrespective of whether they appear on the voters;’ register should be allowed to vote in the upcoming party primaries.

    Museveni said that he had received complaints regarding the non-existence of registers in some villages and the exclusion of a significant number of party members from registers.

    “The issue can be resolved if we stick to the principles and policies of the NRM party that are contained in our constitution,” Museveni said.

    The NRM constitution under Article 25 (5) (g) mandates the NRM branches (Villages) to keep a permanent register of the branch members.

    Museveni says that any NRM member whose name is not on the party register shall be immediately added to the register and permitted to vote if ‘the person is 18 years and above.”

    “The Branch (Village) Executive Committee should have verified that the person is a member of NRM in that village,” Museveni said.

    “Where there are no registers, the Branch (Village) Executive Committee shall verify and register all members eligible to vote,” he added.

    Museveni advises that the activities of updating voters’ registers should be handled transparently either prior to or on the voting day and “should not be a source of conflict.”

    “Copies of registers used should immediately after this exercise be forwarded to the Secretary General of the NRM,” he said.

    NRM primaries are scheduled for tomorrow but already different players had decried the way in which registers are being handled.

    Exploit Uganda’s immense opportunities, says M7

    State House, Entebbe: Uganda has a sea of opportunities that leaders should tap into to serve their communities, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has said. 
    The President’s counsel was made on Friday at State House Entebbe as he launched two books authored by the Secretary to the Judiciary, Mr Pius Bigirimana. The books are; ‘The Corona Lockdown Chronicles’ and ‘Abundance Mentality’.

    ‘Abundance Mentality’ is a story of Bigirimana’s rise from a barefooted boy in remote Kisoro to become a permanent secretary (see attached book review).
    ‘The Corona Lockdown Chronicles’ is a compilation of experiences and lessons of the Bigirimana family from April to May when the country was under mandatory lockdown owing to the outbreak of the Covid-19.
    Commenting about “Abundance Mentality”, President Museveni said: “What Bigirimana is saying is that in Uganda there are many opportunities to benefit from and to use to serve the society. They range from financial to medical, to hospitality, etc”.
    President Museveni commended Bigirimana for being an active servant and a loyal cadre.
    “Because of being active, he was fought in the Office of the Prime Minister and I said if you don’t want him there let us put him in Gender,” said the President.
    “When he went to Gender he did wonderful work. That’s why I said he is like pumpkin seeds. He sprouts anywhere you put him,” added the President.
    The President said publication of the books and their stories was an achievement because “if you are educated and you don’t manage to succeed in Africa then there is a problem”.
    “It is easy to succeed in Africa because everything here is in abundance,” said the President.
    He added that in Africa there are a lot of undiscovered opportunities unlike in Europe where all opportunities are all exploited.
    “I congratulate Bigirimana for writing these books. I want to commend the spectacles of Pius that are able to see the opportunities. That mentality of ‘I can do it’ is what Bigirimana is talking about,” said Museveni.

    At the same function, Acting Chief Justice Owiny Dollo, who has known Bigirimana since the 1980s, said the President was apt to label him “a pumpkin seed” because he is already sprouting and soon flourishing.
    “The example of Pius is important to this country. This is a challenge to all of us that before we die, we should put our life experiences in writing. We owe it to society,” said Owiny-Dollo.
    Mr Bigirimana, who was accompanied by his immediate family, thanked President Museveni for his physical presence and for hosting them in State House to launch his books.
    “I truly thank you all for being part of my journey and hope you will enjoy reading these two books,” Bigirimana said.
    Mr. Bigirimana said apart from writing the books, the lockdown gave him time to internalise the communication by the President on the real economy versus vulnerable economy.

    “This is a rich paper which I have in its entirety made to form part of the book for the people to read,” he added.
    He thanked the President for supporting the recently-passed Administration of Judiciary Act and projects like the construction of Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
    Present at the book launch were the Principal Judge, Flavian Zeija, Bufumbira South MP Sam Bitangaro, among others.

    Civil and Economic activist, entrepreneur and Motivational speaker, Frank Gashumba has said president Museveni’s action to ban advertising unauthorized local herbs was a good step.

    “In the last speech by president Museveni, I was happy that he listened to my plea to ban publicity of local in authentic herbs. It’s good that he banned it. Better late than never. I am glad he had my YouTube message I aired on March 27″Gashumba said.

    During his last speech, president Museveni warned closure of a television or radio outlet where adverts of unauthorised local herbs are being advertised.

    The Mali Group of companies boss said that in the developed world, no drug shop would sell you a medicine without doctor’s recommendation.

    “They use a social security number to put to punch in information about your visits to health experts. Once a prescription is authenticated, then a drug shop releases the medicine. What is sold on counter is food supplement. Nothing else,” Gashumba said.

    He criticised Bukedde tv for promoting “nosense” just because they are looking for money.

    ” I can’t imagine who runs this country. It makes us feel bad when illegalities are done freely as if there is no authority,” Gashumba said.

    He also touched the issue of food distribution where shs. 59 bn will be used to purchase food for the poor.

    He said there must be full accountability for.all.funds and that he was sure more that 1.5m government planned for require food.

    “They should reach out to all the needy” Gashumba said.
    On fake preachers who boast of wielding powers to heal, Gashumba advised government to arrest them.

    “They keep telling the unsuspecting flock that they have powers to heal all forms of disease. Let them come out now instead of asking for money from people,” Gashumba said.

    President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today evening inaugurated National Taskforce that will guide the county on her journey into the fourth industrial revolution. The ceremony took place at State House Entebbe. The Taskforce will be under the Office of the Prime Minister and the ICT Ministry and it will be led by former Minister Eng. John Nasasira.
    “This evening at State House Entebbe, I inaugurated the national taskforce that will guide the country on its journey into the fourth industrial revolution. Under the Office of the Prime Minister, and the ICT Ministry, the taskforce will be led by Eng John Nasasira.
    Even as we talk about this revolution and advancement in technology, we must not forget that man’s basic needs remain food, shelter, clothes, and now education, locomotion and security. Technology, therefore, must be about serving these human needs.
    As Africans, however, we must avoid blind consumption of technology, which could cause hemorrhage. For example, non-productive users of mobile phones help telecoms collect money which they then ship out of the country, affecting our economy.
    That said, it is good this taskforce has been formed. It is a new capacity for the human race, whose evolution dates to 1.5 million years ago, when man invented fire. Since then, several innovations have happened to change man’s lifestyle, and we are now at this fourth Industrial Revolution.
    I call upon this team to think in a holistic manner, not uni-dimensional. I have been watching some speakers suggest that Africa should not engage in manufacturing, instead focusing only on food production. We should avoid such landmines. Africa must manufacture and focus on areas of its comparative advantage.
    Finally, I challenge the team to be practical. Why should we have software engineers who cannot make computers? Ugandan scientists must not just be users of gadgets, they must design and make these gadgets like computers. We should have complete integration from foundation to final products. I thank you,” M7 said.

    M7 launches Vital Tomosi Dairy plant in Kiruhura

    President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday launched a new dairy plant in Kiruhura. The plant is Vital Tomosi Dairy who are the producers of Milkman brand.
    “Today afternoon, in Rushere, Kiruhura District, I commissioned the Vital Tomosi milk processing factory, producers of the Milkman brand of UHT milk and yoghurt.
    This is one of the fruits of our sensitization efforts dating back to 1966 when Mwesigwa Black and I, started to dissuade our parents and community from the practices of nomadism and subsistence cattle keeping.
    The mindset at the time was largely pre-capitalist but we took a lesson from the exposure we had at school in Mbarara and brought the knowledge back home.
    When we had made headway with the general concept, we then started sensitization on enterprise selection. At the time, there had been mass conscription of wanainchi into growing of cash crops such as tobacco, coffee and cotton.
    The local people, without vast lands, ultimately could not get out of poverty. So we encouraged our people to look into high milk-yielding breeds of cows, instead of depending entirely on our local breeds.
    Therefore, I am pleased to commission this factory, which processes 100,000 litres of milk daily. I commend the Israeli investor, Eytan Stibbe of Vital Capital Fund, and their local partners, Odrek and Patience Rwabwogo, for setting up this facility.
    I am pleased to see such partnerships and hope that more of the same can be fostered in different parts of the country, especially with focus on value-addition to agricultural produce,” M7 said.
    Odrek Rwabwogo one of the brains behind the factory said launching  of the dairy plant is a culmination of 55 years of hard work on this land from peasantry when his parents, born again Christians, settled on the land and begun to raise production of crops and animals. “My wife and I begun changes on this land in 1997 and by 2012 we had found strategic partners to support our vision to process products within our community. Work on the plant begun in 2014, completed in 2016 and our first products went to the market at the beginning of 2017. I thank God for our community of faithful farmers, my family, the Tomosi group staff and board and all our customers and suppliers who believed this vision of “Made in Africa”,” Rwabwogo said.
