    Kampala: Buganda Kingdom was the main topic of discussion at the 7th edition of the MeetThe Boss business convention that took place last night at Kingdom Kampala.

    The event that is sponsored by Tusker Malt was graced by the Buganda premier Charles Peter Mayiga who led the discussion on Buganda’s contribution to the economy of Uganda and the investment opportunities available in the region.

    The Katikkiro emphasized Buganda’s position as central in the Uganda’s development and how the former has continuously played a key role in making investment opportunities available to investors interested in setting up in Buganda.

    “Buganda has since time immemorial played its part in developing this country by providing both land for investment and a skilled workforce,” Mr. Mayiga said.

    The event also shed light on some of the country’s leadinginnovative young entrepreneurs, profiling successfulyoung people who are turning into the new generation of thought leaders that the rest can emulate.

    Salvador’s Just Comedy officially launched

    Early this afternoon the renowned comedian the man from Ombokolo Patrick Indringi aka Salvador and his co-hosts Emmah Napoleone and Ronnie McVex addressed the media as he officially launched the Just Comedy show at Atmosphere Lounge. The show is set to take place tomorrow at Kingdom Kampala in a Grand launch and will be the first of many more to come.

    Salvador revealed that the show will be a weekly event and something to look forward to. He however made it clear that he has not started the show to fight anyone or to outcompete the already existing shows as he has planned this for a long time.

    According to Salvador, the show will be entirely comedy and artistes who want to perform will ask to perform as he will not be hiring any. “Just like the name suggests, I will not be hiring any musicians to sing at the show, if a musician wants to perform, she/he can ask” he said. He also emphasized that there will be no vulgarity at the show as it will be a family show where you can sit with your mother in law, child, and husband name it and you all enjoy the show.
