    Team Nkuyege commanded by Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has extended warmest congratulations to the newly elected President of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

    “We commend the people of Uganda for exercising their democratic right. We look forward to the protection of the gains following the 7 Pillars of NRM’s manifesto. No doubt we shall achieve vision 2040. I therefore call upon Team Nkuyege to continue with its role of sensetising Ugandans and disseminating message of patriotism, unity, development and showcasing where Ugandan is.     Hajjat Hanifah Karadi, Commander Team Nkuyege has also been hailed for her top notch Mobilisation which saw her change a number of NUP supporters to the NRM camp.

    “Thank you so much for this tireless effort of showcasing NRM achievements that has converted thousands of opposition (NUP) to NRM. NRM’s Kololo last Rally was a testimony,” Hajjat Hanifah Karadi added.

    Former Kawempe North MP aspirant Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has launched a new force to Mobilise support for NRM Presidential candidate H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The team dubbed Nkuyege will travel all corners of Kampala to show the gains the NRM Government has put in place and wants to protect.

    She has called all Ugandans to rally behind President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and give him another term to continue driving Uganda forward.

     

    “Youth, women, Men and all others, join us and we support NRM Presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni come January 15th 2026 with a big percentage. We are a critical stage of development and we still need Mzee M7 to lead us,” Hajjat Hanifah Karadi said.

    2026 Updates: Hajjat Hanifah Karadi rallies support for NRM Presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni

    Humanitarian, activist and politicians Hon. Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has argued Moslems of Kawempe to support Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for President and all the NRM flag bearers in next year’s General elections for the continuity of development of Uganda, especially peace, stability, and progressive development so far.

    She also advised all flag bearers to support each other and win as a team where she later paid a courtesy visit at the office of the Imam’s. She Said all this today while at Juma prayers at Masjid Jamia -Kawempe Ttula, Kawempe Division Kampala.

    Hajjat Hanifah Karadi is well known for her activism to support community development without fear or favor. She has been instrumental in developing the needy in Kawempe and Kampala through her Hanifah Karadi Foundation (HKF).

    Royco joins Muslim Community during this Ramadan to launch ‘Share Goodness’ Campaign

    Royco joined Muslims community at Masjid Mbogo Mosque in Kawempe during this Ramadan to launch ‘share goodness’ campaign.

    The marketing director of the company Grace Nandawula revealed that their main reason for the campaign is to share and show generosity to every Muslim especially those that don’t have enough to take them through the holy month.

    The campaign actually started last year, they did the same thing and they were happy with how many people they helped.

    “We are here as Royco to share with our dear people Muslims and support them during these 30 days of Ramadan under our campaign ‘share goodness’ campaign. It started last year and we are continuing with it this year. Our main aim is to share with the less privileged with meals,” Grace said.

    The deputy supreme Imam Sheikh Muhamood Sselwanga of Kawempe Mbogo Mosque appreciated Royco for thinking about them and knowing that sharing during this month of Ramadan is important.

    He asked Muslims to keep praying deeply during this Ramadan and also pray for the country Uganda. There is a lot going on and humans can’t do much about it, all that is needed to be done is to pray to almighty Allah.

    “As Muslims we are happy to welcome the company of Royco in our community. I have always used and loved royco in my food but I have never met them. We want to thank Royco and all Ugandans for supporting Muslims in this holly month let’s keep praying for ourselves and our dear country,” Sheikh Muhamood said.

    Jose Chameleone starts a political journey as he declares himself for Kampala Mayoral race 2021

    Legendary singer Jose Chameleone born Joseph Mayanja today started his journey to his political career. On 8th April the singer in a press conference announced his intentions to contest for the Mayorship of Kampala City in  2021 General elections.
    This morning, the ‘Bayuda’ singer started his journey with a visit to his birthplace in Kawempe where he did general cleaning in Kawempe market before playing soccer with the natives.
    The singer then addressed residents and made his intentions for Mayoral race more clear. “I started my music journey here and you were the first people to support and push harder. Today I begin a new journey and I seek your blessings like you did with my music journey 20 years ago,” Chameleone said.
    Joseph Mayanja has over time stressed he doesn’t jold any political card as he is an independent candidate. “I do not belong to any party, I am independent.”
    He joins Bobi Wine real name Robert Ssenyamu  Kyagulanyi and Judith Babirye as veteran Ugandan singers to join politics.
