    Adekunle Gold’s Tribute To Uganda Is Deliciously Beautiful

    As promised, Club Pilsener delivered a show to remember at Saturday’s Club Dome concert that featured performances from Nigeria’s Adekunle Gold and South Africa’s Costa Titch.

    Reportedly, Lugogo Cricket Oval was filled up with over 20k revelers who turned up for the return of the dome experience and to catch a glimpse of Adekunle and Costa Titch performing in the +256 for the very first time.

    Sheebah Karungi, Kataleya and Kandle, John Blaq, Vinka, Vamos 256, Dance Mamweta, Ritah Dancehall, and Laika also represented the local acts with remarkable performances.

    Deejays Slick Stuart, Roja, Alisha, Dash, and Kasbaby were also in place to compliment the hype from emcees Sheilah Gashumba, Sammy Wetala, Casmir, Zahara Totto, among others.

    “It was an experience I will forever remember in my life. That was mad,” a reveler was overheard pointing out at the end of the show.

    For the past few months there has been buzz about the Mbarara Jam Fest and now it’s just a few days away.

    On Saturday 9, 2022, the party will be in Mbarara at University Inn. This is the maiden Jam Fest as it will traverse the country all through the year.

    Organized by Nexus Events, the event will see performances from artistes Vinka, Spice Diana, John Blaq, Daddy Andre, Kataleya and Kandle, Mc Kacheche, NTV’s Daggy Nice and Zex Bilangilangi no among others. There will also be mixes from Selecta Jeff, Selecta Rayan and many more.

    Entrance will be at a fee of Shs10,000 and shs20,000 for VIPs with a table going for Shs300,000 and tickets are available at the gate and at Nexus Lounge in Najjera.

    After two years of lockdown, the Club Dome returns with its 6th Edition which will start on Saturday 16th July 2022 and will be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval after its launch that was held at Panamera Bar and Lounge.

    The Club beer sponsored event will attract thousands of university students who will storm the Lugogo Cricket Oval for a fun-filled evening.

    The students will be treated to several fun activities including games, performances from several artistes, and crazy music mixes from top local deejays that will keep revelers glued on the dance floor.

    This year’s theme for Club Dome is “Futuristic!!”.

    The party will go on till late and revelers will depart at leisure. Club Dome is an event targeting University students and it will be seven universities across the country these include Makerere University, MUB’s, Kyambogo University, Kampala International University (K.I.U), Cavendish University, International University of East Africa (I.U.E.A) and Nkumba University

    Speaking at the launch, Joel Galla, the Nile Breweries’ Brand Manager Club, and Premiums revealed that like it has been done in the past, Club Dome will have tours across the country reaching out to their consumers in different cities and towns.

    The event will feature top African acts in Nigeria’s Adekunle Gold and South Africa’s Costa Titch and Ugandan superstars John Blaq, Slick Stuart, and Roja, among many others.

    It was an action-packed last Friday at an event held at Casablanca Lounge in Kampala, as  Feffe Bussi, John Blaq, Pia Pounds.

    The Club Pilsener Sponsored theme night will be happening every Friday at Casablanca Lounge which kicked off last week on 19th March 2022 as it launched its sized 330ml on the Ugandan market.

    Dubbed Club Shorty, the sized bottles were announced on Friday evening by Nile Breweries’ Brand Manager Club and Premiums Joel Galla at the Shorties Night, an event held at Casablanca Lounge in Kampala.

    The reintroduction of the Shorty comes months after the launch of new sleek and portable Club Pilsener Cans which have since taken the market by storm.

    “We understand the Club Pilsener consumer has unique lifestyle needs which is why we have offered a variety of sizes and capacities to ensure they have a Club for every occasion. They now have a choice between the 500ml bottle for a longer sitting, the 330ml bottle for a shorter period, and if they want to carry their Club with them, they have a sleek can which fits perfectly in a pocket or pass,” Mr. Galla said.

    He further revealed that the Shorties’ Night will continue happening at Casablanca Lounge throughout the year to further celebrate the Club Pilsener consumer while offering them options that fit perfectly into their lifestyle.

    The 12th edition of Roast and Ryhme was a hit at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo yesterday. Partiers kicked off new month of March in style at the fun filled event.

    People had good time with families and friends at the Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam Edition.

    Partiers enjoyed the event fully as they danced to reggae Ragga music from the stars of the game like Bob Marley (RIP) Lucky Dube (RIP) and many others.

    The Bell Lager sponsored event didn’t leave out Ugandan stars as new Swangz Avenue kid on the block Azawi took to the stage to entertain revellers.

    Janzi Band was also there to do what they do best ‘live music’. A-Pass and John Blaq added more fire to the event as they took to the stage and thrilled fans.

    The 2019 edition on Sunday was another social event that brought together Kampala partiers to enjoy food with families and friends.
    The Shell Gas Tokosa Food Festival is an attraction to foodies of all ages. There was cook off competitions involving Vivo Energy staff, bachelors, junior chefs, divas, and even couples – competing for a 12Kg Shell Gas cylinder and other goodies from the event’s partner sponsors.
    Vivo Energy Uganda Managing Director, Gilbert Assi, was among the showing the big wigs who took part in the CEOs cook-off competition at the event.
    After enjoying the food all day, it was time for some fun in form of entertainment and it was truly needed. The Zumba team kicked off entertainment by working up the crowds with thrilling steps.
    The Sundowners of Lillian Mbabazi took to the stage and provided bit of live music as the foodies got fired up. John Blaq, Vinka and Winnie Nwagi worked the crowds respectively to crown off the evening.

    The music super star John Blaq and the legendary DJ Shiru put up a stunning performance during the grand opening ceremony of the NSSF KAVC international tournament on 2nd Aug ,2019 at Hockey grounds, Lugogo.

    The Obubaddi star performed all his hit songs such as Tukwatagane, Makanika and DO dat that cheered up the crowd. Fans had the most satisfying opportunity of taking selfies with John blaq during his performance.

    DJ Shiru made sure the crowd did not rest the whole night as he played music that the made the revelers leave their seats and danced to the groove.

    The opening ceremony included the introduction of all teams including the international teams from Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia and a performance from the Stingy traditional dancers

    John Blaq took to the same platform and hugged his former bosses who also participated in the games as he narrated to the audience how they treated him well during the time he was carrying boxes in one of their factories some time ago to earn a living and thanked them for the prayers towards his success.

    NSSF KAVC International tournament attracts all EastAfrican Volley Ball teams which makes it the most competitive and enjoyable tournament in the region. This is its 23rd edition and it has continued to rise standards over time and this year, teams from Ethiopia and Burundi were competing for the first time in the tournament.

    The organizing committee and the Sponsors (NSSF) of the Kampala Amateur volley ball club international tournament(NSSF KAVC) have confirmed that the ‘Obubaddi’ singer and DJ Shiru will be headlining the opening ceremony of the tourney on Friday Aug 2,2019 at the Hockey grounds, Lugogo.

    The tournament will start from 2nd – 4th Aug,2019 and during that period ,Lugogo will be the place to be .

    Unlike other events, entrance to the venue is absolutely free and performances will range from traditional dancers to Prominent DJs and John Blaq will be the key performer of the day.

    NSSF KAVC International tournament attracts all EastAfrican Volley Ball teams which makes it the most competitive and enjoyable tournament in the region. This is its 23rd edition and it has continued to rise standards over time and this year, teams from Ethiopia and Burundi are competing for the first time in the tournament.

    Competitions will be held on both the MTN Arena indoor stadium and the Hockey grounds, Lugogo and over thirty teams that have so far confirmed participation will be competing for the ultimate prize. Winners will go away with USD2500, second runners USD1500 and third runners USD1000

    Some of the teams include Ndejje club (Women) and KAVC (Men) the defending of champions of last year’s NSSF KAVCtournament, Rwanda’s Gisagara, Burundi’s Amical, South Sudan’s Rainbow , Ethiopia’s Madda Walabu University and many more.

    Fans will have an opportunity to interact with players including the international teams during the three-day tournament.
