    Phaneroo to host Global Inter-University Conference this coming weekend

    Phaneroo Ministries International has announced the 2025 edition of its Global Inter-University Conference (GIC), scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru.

    The annual gathering is expected to attract thousands of students from universities and institutions across Uganda, the East African region, and beyond for a day of prayer, worship, and life-transforming encounters with God.

    Speaking ahead of the event, Apostle Grace Lubega underscored the importance of such gatherings in this generation. “This is a crucial time for university students. Many are at defining crossroads in their faith, purpose, and identity. The Global Inter-University Conference is not just an event; it is a divine moment for God to awaken and empower a generation that will shape nations through wisdom and power,” Apostle Grace said.

    He encouraged all attendees to keep time, noting that each session of the day will carry divine significance. “Every moment will matter. Come early, expectant, and ready for what God is going to do,” he urged.

    Peter Turyasingura, the Head of Manifest Fellowship which is Phaneroo’s outreach arm, shared that preparations for this year’s GIC have been ongoing through a series of “Catch the Fire” conferences held at various universities, including Makerere University, Kyambogo University, St. Lawrence University, Makerere University Business School, Kampala International University, Kabale, and in Fort Portal.

    These events, he said, have been instrumental in preparing students for what promises to be a powerful move of God at the GIC. “We have seen students praying, fasting, and being established in their walk with God through these campus conferences,” Minister Turyasingura said.

    “Now we are ready for the great convergence. We have already received confirmations from students in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and other countries who are coming to experience what God is doing through this generation.”

    He added that the Global Inter-University Conference is more than just a meeting, it is a spiritual awakening that seeks to equip young people to impact their communities and the world.The GIC has grown into one of the region’s largest Christian youth gatherings, drawing multitudes from different backgrounds united by one vision, to see God glorified in institutions of higher learning.

    Phaneroo Ministries International invites all university students, recent graduates, and young professionals to attend this year’s conference for a life-changing encounter marked by worship, teaching, and divine impartation.

    On 30th July 2023, at the UMA Multipurpose Hall Lugogo, Apostle Grace Lubega and his team clapped their way into the history books for a record-breaking 3hours, 16 minutes and 1 second.

    This record attempt has now been officially confirmed by the Guinness World Records.

    Much speculation was raised as to why Apostle Grace and his team took on this challenge. Opinions on social media and various platforms were divided with some claiming that this was a self-promoting agenda while others who were less inclined to bias looked to the reason for the event itself captured in the event name as ‘Clap for Jesus.’

    The spirit of this record attempt was well explained by Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries International, a dynamic generation impacting ministry whose vision is to transform nations with the Word of God. He said, “if there’s anything we can do to give glory to God, we will do it. If someone ever asks what the longest applause in history was for, let them discover it was for Jesus.”

    On that historical Sunday afternoon, the team numbering at least a thousand wrote history one clap at a time. In the UMA showgrounds parking lot, thousands more cheered them on, dancing, singing, praying, and worshipping from the designated overflow area for non-participants. Across the world, several thousands in the Manifest centres also joined in online via the Phaneroo YouTube channel and Manifest Television for the same purpose of exalting God.

    As this achievement sinks in, it is apt and judicious to reflect on John 3:16 (AMP) – For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Saviour] shall not perish but have eternal life.

    Gospel star, Moses Bliss, to grace Phaneroo’s 9th Anniversary celebrations

    Kampala: Phaneroo Ministries International, a dynamic life-transforming ministry led by Apostle Grace Lubega is scheduled to celebrate its ninth anniversary on the 5th of August 2023 at the Kololo Independence Grounds, Kampala.

    Headlining the celebration will be Nigerian gospel heavyweight, Moses Bliss, renown for emotive songs including Too faithful and Bigger every day. Alongside the popular artist, entertaining the congregants, will be a selection of guest artists and the showstopping Phaneroo choir.

    In the lead up to the day, the ministry is running multiple activities to give thanks by giving back to the community. This includes market cleaning, hospital ministry, and community outreach programmesprograms. Through these activities, dubbed “Hope Campaign” the ministry extends God’s love to people in various communities.

    Additionally, the ministry will also continue its anniversary tradition of invading the streets of (among others) Kampala, Arua, Masaka, Mbale, Entebbe, Hoima, Lira, Bushenyi, Luweero, Gulu, Mukono and Soroti preaching the gospel to commuters. This time though, with the extensive presence of the ministry across the world, street preaching will be conducted in various countries across the world.

    According to organizers of the event, the theme for this year is Thanksgiving and Miracle service. “We are giving thanks to God for the wonderful things He has done in us, for us and through us as a ministry during the year. We also give thanks for the wonderful things He has already prepared for us”.

    It is a truism that in the presence of God, miracles, signs, and wonders happen because it is the nature of God to heal the sick, open blind eyes, open deaf ears, align people to their ordained purposes and restore relationships. Against this backdrop, we implore everyone to join us at the Kololo Independence grounds for this life-transforming event; God is up to something.
