    Bryan White, his Foundation distribute farming tools to Luweero farmers

    Bryan White Foundation Team through their boss Bryan White have today delivered farming tools to 300 farmers organized under ‘proud farmer’ Bettina Tumuhaise.

    The distribution comes after an open letter addressed Bryan White by Bettina Tumuhaise requesting for help to farmers in Zirobwe Luweero.

    The letter which she posted on her Facebook wall reached out to Bryan White who agreed to help the former together with her farmers through his foundation.

    A total of 300 farmers from areas of Ndeba, Kakooni, Kiwangula and Busika all in Luweero district were the beneficiaries at today’s function held at Kakooni, Manya, Bulemezi in Zirobwe Luweero district.

    Among the items delivered to farmers are; hoes, pangas and seedlings which was worth millions of shillings.

    Proud farmer Bettina expressed happiness after the foundation’s work of helping the young farmers.

    Former media personality and ex 93.3 KFM music producer turned farmer, Bettina Tumuhaise, has said she is so excited to work with Bryan White Foundation.

    Bettina was yesterday received at Bryan White Foundation podium to present her Farming Proposal and budget which also included a budget of tools for 300 farmers in Zirobwe, Gayaza where her farms are located.

    In the a length statement which she posted on her social media, Bettina said it’s an honor to work with the foundation where Bryan White said she will be appointed ambassador for farming under the foundation.

    The foundation’s team will pay a visit to her farms in Gayaza in a fact finding mission to establish how far she has gone.

    The team will also meet a group of farmers under her umbrella who also set to benefit from the foundation.

    Bettina described Bryan White as a nice, humble, welcoming and hardworking person. She praised the work of the foundation of Awakening The Youths From Poverty.

    DEAR DIARY,

    So last Thursday, I took a leap of faith and wrote an open letter to the Bryan White Foundation, with the help of many of you (of course, through your social media shares, reactions and comments), the message reached some big wigs at the Foundation.

    In my letter was a budget for a group of village farmers, I have always nursed this dream to assist them, but this had never come to pass because of my current financial standing, especially if I was to scale and sustain the dream to grow more legs. But that’s soon about to become past tense.

    I am beyond humbled for having been given an opportunity to interact with all ‘Podiumians’ this morning, ba-guy, you are very good people.

    By the way it is always better to always take time to listen to the other side of the story, Bryan White is actually a nice person, humble and welcoming, the thing is sometimes people don’t like brutally honest people but well, life can’t be the way you want it sometimes you need bitter sweet love.

    You must be wondering where I am going with this, so the budget (in fact the dream) will be taken care of, in fact this Thursday, all the Farmers will receive the tools I asked for live from my village Kakooni-Vvumba,I am smiling head to toe, ear to nose and even my left elbow is smiling, it takes a lot of confidence to be this woman.

    Oooh did I say that together with his foundation, he is going to visit my farm and see how he can help me to take it to another level????ooooh please I am sorry hadn’t mentioned that part.

    Proud farmer’s proposal to be fully funded by Bryan White Foundation this week

    Proud Farmer and socialite, Bettina Praising, has today been welcomed to Bryan White foundation’s podium to present her budget for her farmers in Zirobwe. Bryan White through his foundation has pledged total support to her projects and those of her fellow farmers.

    As a commitment to support her, the foundation team will on Thursday this week visit her farms in Zirobwe, Gayaza Kyadondo in a fact finding mission. The foundation will then meet a team of farmers mobilized by Bettina to receive their farming tools. The foundation team will also go with the tools she requested for amounting to UGX 15m.  

    “I wanted to do something different after leaving the media. I have passion for farming. I wanted to change the women and youths. I started campaign through Facebook with hash tag #ProudFarmer. I have been preaching about farmers about farming been giving my local farmers budget to help them. I have been preaching about farming and my aim is to uplift the women and youths,” Bettina said.

    Bryan White said the foundation will appoint Bettina Tumuhaise as an ambassador to promote farming and reach out to different farmers to promote farming. “Every person that comes out with such an idea, we don’t hesitate to support. We are here to inspire the youth from poverty,” he said.

    The activist again called on Ugandans to stop hating each other and love their nation if they are to progress.

    Meanwhile Bryan White accused The Kampala Sun Tabloid of trying to bring his activities down. “We are working for the nation, we don’t stop you from publishing but you are going beyond. You take us like fools and yet we are working for the nation. Publish messages that will help the country, inspire the youths, we talk about how to fight HIV and poverty but you don’t talk about it. You will not scare me from my country, we are here forever and we shall fight on till we get to our levels. I invited these guys to help me spread the message but it has become a trouble for them.  They have families and kids to work for so let them be,” Bryan White said.

    Socialite and proud farmer Bettina Tumuhaise aka Bettina Praising has been invited to Bryan White Foundation podium to bring her proposal and present budget for her farmers.

    The former music producer at 93.3 KFM turned farmer wrote an open letter to the fight against poverty activist, Bryan White, through her Facebook platform.

    The CEO Bryan White Foundation managed to read the letter after it was published by several online media outlets.

    And after receiving her concern, Bryan White instructed his team to call Bettina and invite her to the foundation offices tomorrow Monday 7th 2018 May with her printed farmers budget which she wrote in the letter she posted.

    In the letter, Bettina wrote Bryan White requesting to fund the budget in which she wanted to buy several farming tools for 300 farmers back in her farming village in Zirobwe, Gayaza Kyadondo.

    This is Bettina’s second letter after her first open letter to Bobi Wine didn’t get the response.

    This Monday 7th May 2018 meeting could turn out to be milestone for the ‘proud farmer’ Bettina and her inspired local farmers in Zirobwe. Below us the letter;

    OPEN LETTER TO BRYAN WHITE

    Dear Bryan White

    I am a farmer by day and a party Animal by night.

    In short i am not your ordinary normal farmer. When you say my name you add #proudfarmer

    I represent most of my Farmers from my village Kakooni-Vvumba and I also encourage people especially daughters of women to join farming.

    I have been writing down a budget to give you and every time I forget to include seeds (esingo)

    Below is the budget.

    1-Hoes (enkubi) 300 farmers @15,000= 4,500,000/=

    2- Pangas (jambiya) 300 farmers @10,000 = 3,000,000/=

    3-Seeds (ensigo) 2,000kgs of Beans @3,500 = 7,000,000/=

    TOTAL =14,500,000/=
