SHUMUK CEO, Mukesh Babubhai Shukla issued with Criminal summons

The court case hearing at Buganda Road court where Mukesh Babubhai Shukla aka Shumuk has been charged for 13 counts of uttering false documents and forgery of the Chief Justice Bart Katureebe’s signature, as well as the Katatumba family’s signatures, in alleged attempts by Shumuk to take over Hotel Diplomaté Muyenga, was adjourned to Monday the 20th of January 2019.

Shockingly, Shumuk’s lawyer told court that, Shumuk who is out on bail, is not in the country but is in Dubai on “business”.

The Magistrate who was clearly very upset, went ahead to assure Shumuk’s lawyer that, court MUST be made a priority to absolutely EVERYTHING. She said she did not accept a personal flimsy letter that she pointed at on file, which Shumuk had written to court explaining that he will be out of the country.

She angrily said she will not tolerate Shumuk’s shameless arrogance and went ahead to issue Shumuk a Criminal Summons demanding that he MUST return for the next Court Hearing date of February 19th 2019 at 9AM at Buganda Road Court. In the event that he does not appear, he will be issued an Arrest Warrant.

Present in court amongst other complainants, were Angella Katatumba and Rugiirwa Katatumba.
