Scooby Doo International School to host free swimming Gala

Scooby Doo International School Uganda is due to host it’s very first Swimming Gala 2023.

The event is slated for 29th April at the school campus in Sseguku-Katale off Neebalamye Mayanja Road starting from 10:00am -1:00pm.

What you need to know about Scooby Doo International School Uganda?

Scooby Doo is a hybrid kindergarten school – offering parents a wide option of choices ranging from the national curriculum, integrated curriculum (a blend of national and integrated curriculum) and International curriculum (Early Years Foundation Stage – EYFS curriculum) and an integrated curriculum (a blend of national and international curricular).

The School Premises:

Scooby Doo International School Uganda is located in a spacious yet serene environment away from the dust and noise. The compound is well tarmacked with various green belts.

Lessons:

Their lessons are practical, interactive and delivered using the most child centred and friendly approaches. An excellent teacher – pupil ratio enables the teachers to directly reach and support each child to learn with ease.

Health:

They have a wellstocked sick bay with an on-site trained nurse who offers first aid and attends to any emergencies as soon as they arise. Their children also undergo termly medical checkups at their hospital (Gombe Medical Services) at a fee of 50,000/= to ensure that each is medically safe.

Clubs and Games

The school has lots of indoor and outdoor play materials with a swimming pool on site. Children enjoy a range of clubs and games such as swimming, slides, sand play, water play, ballet, piano, soccer and
under close supervision of their teachers and instructors. Specialized clubs such as soccer academy, ballet and piano are at a termly fee of $50 (190,000/=).

ICT Facilities:

All classrooms are equipped with multi
media projectors, smart boards and internet facilities. Their teachers are equipped with laptops and ICT expertise to enhance quality teaching and learning.

Meals:

The school provides three meals – early
morning tea, breakfast, lunch and
afternoon snack. In addition to the usual
local and exotic delicacies, their meals are enriched with fruits. You pack nothing and your child lacks nothing.

Transport:

There is transport arranged for their learners and the fees are charged separately according to location / distance from school.
Transport charges range between 400,000/-= to 600,000/= per term. The vans reach all residential neighbourhoods around the
school such as Sseguku, Bunamwaya, Nkungulutale, Kabojja, Kinaawa, Kajjansi, Munyonyo, Nalumunye, Kasenge, Katale, Kikajjo,
Mutundwe, Kyengera, Buddo, Kitende and others.

Security:

As a safe school for children, they are
enclosed behind a perimeter wall and
monitored under 24 hour CCTV
surveilance as well as having professional security guards on site.

•A copy of birth certificate / immunization
card
•2 passport photographs for the child

•1 passport photograph for each parent.
