Former Chairman Uganda Investment Authority Board and political analyst, Mr. Rwakakamba Morrison, has outlined what should be done to appoint new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uganda Airlines after Ms Jennifer Bamuturaki was relieved of her duties at the young airline.

Posting on his X handle, Rwakakamba said the best way to get the new chief to lead the airline is to advertise the position (s) globally and get the best in the world. Rwakakamba Morrison was reacting to a post by Andrew Mwenda who called for the appointment of former Ethiopian Airline Chief, Girma Wake to take the helm at the young airline.

Below is what Rwakakamba Morrison submitted;

“Perhaps, the best way is to advertise the position(s) globally and get the best in the world. Those Ethiopian Pan Africanists should also be among the many, not the few, to be given an opportunity to present their credentials. Even more critical is the interview panel. The retained panel should include Chairmen and CEO’s of best run Airlines in the world and top global management gurus. With the foregoing, UA will join the premier world of Airlines dominating the skies,”.
