Rukiga County MP Hon. Roland tells children,”Develop a strong work ethic & take responsibility for your future”
Rukiga County Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Bish Roland Ndyomugyenyi has urged children and youth to develop a strong work ethic and take responsibility for their future.
He said this recently while officiating at the belated celebrations of the Day of African Child in Rukiga County, Rukiga District. He also discouraged child labour.
The MP went on to tell the parents and guardians to be extra vigilant and take care of their children to prevent cases of defilement, rape, and theft which issues that are of great concern in the district amongst the children and youth, and said they must work together to eliminate them.
Hon. Roland also emphasized the need for continued efforts in Rukiga to create a safer and more supportive environment for children; the importance of education and community vigilance, aiming to cultivate a culture that prioritizes the well-being and development of the young people.
Mr. Fixer later served the children cake as they cheered him on the day. He is strongly expected to return to Parliament in 2026. Watch the Space!!!
