President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who doubles as 2016 Presidential and NRM candidate will on Wednesday 3rd February 2016 officially open Rural Women Microfinance Ltd at Kinoni, Bukoto South Lwengo district.
The bank was set up by Hajji Muyanja Mbabaali who is contesting on NRM ticket for Bukoto South constituency as a Member of Parliament with an aim of having this Rural Bank cater for the women savings schemes he started in Bukoto South.
The bank will be opened this Wednesday at Kinoni
Bukoto South has over 200 women SACCOS started by Mbabaali with savings amounting close to Shs2bn. The president after opening the bank will address a campaign rally at Kiwangala Trading Centre in Bukoto South. “This bank will offer loans to members of Bukoto South saving schemes to boost their income earning, this together with modern farming methods, Bukoto South will be free from poverty” Mbabaali said.
