

Premier League fans rewarded by Barclays Bank Uganda
Barclays Bank of Uganda Limited, a member of Absa Group limited, last week handed over prizes worth over UGX18 million to 2 English Premier League fans who participated in the just concluded Super Fans United campaign.
The campaign was run across 7 African countries including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana and Seychelles, and offered the bank a unique opportunity to engage with both current and potential customers.
Customers who opened accounts with the bank were automatically entered into the campaign under which they stood a chance to win a trip to the UK to watch a Premier League match live with a Premier League Legend, a weekend experience with friends at a hotel in Kampala, in the Barclays Clubhouse. As part of the Barclays Clubhouse experience, lucky winners stood a chance to win a living room upgrade with a brand new 60-inch TV, sound system and couch.
Speaking at a prize handover event at Game Stores Lugogo, during which two winners Maureen Nabachwa and Mark Kayiwa, each walked away with a brand new 60-inch TV, sound system and couch, Mr. Kumaran Pather the Retail and Business Banking Director at Barclays Bank Uganda thanked the customers for banking with them and for their continued support.

The Super Fans United campaign attracted participation from over 10,000 customers in Uganda.
