Police takes over investigations into the DJ’s suicide

Police have taken over investigations into the death of Bernards Tumuhimbise aka Kazimoto who committed suicide this Saturday at midday in Kamwenge.

He was working with Nyumbani FM in Kamwenge district.

The famous DJ and presenter hanged himself in a farm near his work place.

The area MP who also doubles as the Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Hon. Frank Tumwebaze expressed sadness over the famous presenter’s untimely death. He described him as a loving human being with large following who will be dearly missed.

Sources close to him told this website that he was suffering from depression and alcohol addiction.

“With deep pain, I received today the sad news of the death of Bernad Tumuhimbise, also known as Kazimoto who has been working at our community radio nNyumbani FM at Rwamwanja. Kazimoto is alleged to have committed suicide and Uganda Police Force is investigating the details and cause of his death. He was a great and loving human being with a huge following on air. May the Almighty God Rest his Soul in eternal Peace. #RIPKazimoto,” Hon. Frank Tumwebaze said.
