Plascon unveils New Kits For Rugby and Football Teams

Plascon Paints has unveiled new sports kits for their rugby and football teams. Going forward the teams that have been known as Sadolin Mongers and Sadolin FC will now be known as Plascon Mongers and Plascon FC respectively.

This move comes after Japanese firm Kansai Plascon’s recent acquisition of Sadolin Paints.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at Plascon offices, Chris Nugent the Managing Director at Plascon Paints Uganda Ltd said, ”Sadolin has been very actively involved in sports as our way to support the development of sports in the country and give the youth an avenue to grow their talents. Our commitment to supporting sports in the country does not stop with this acquisition but in fact will be made stronger now that we are part of a global player.”

The Managing Director also revealed that they have a partnership with Manchester United and in time, shall be doing some activities with them either bringing home team members here or have some of their customers fly to England to watch some United Matches.

He lauded the teams for putting up spirited performances in both football and Rugby Leagues.

Plascon Mongers recently made it to semi finals of the Rugby 7’s and Plascon FC will have a chance to play in the Uganda Premier League this season as well.
