Planned Shutdown At Katosi Water Treatment Plant

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply tomorrow Thursday 14th December, 2023 from 8am to 5pm.

This is to enable UMEME Engineers undertake routine maintenance at the power grid that supplies the Katosi Water Treatment Plant.

Affected areas include:
Mukono, Seeta, Parts of Namugongo, Kyaliwajjala, Kira, Nsasa, Sonde, parts of Mutungo, Bukoto, Naguru, Bulindo, Ntinda and surrounding areas.

The above areas will experience low pressure and no water situations during this downtime, and immediately after as the system recharges.

Customers are therefore advised to use the available water sparingly.
