Pictorial: Mythos Greek Taverna wins Cocktail Week Awards

The 3rd edition of the annual Kampala Cocktail Week came to a thrilling climax this week as four of the thirty top Kampala participating bars received awards for their innovativeness.

The awards ceremony was held at the plush Izumi Lounge in Kololo.

Biggest winner of the night, Mythos Greek Taverna took the Outstanding Service and People’s Choice Top Cocktail Bar awards. The Alchemist won the Best Craft Cocktail award and Kenji’s, Best Shooter award for their ‘Reverse Volcano’ cocktail.

Just like the past two editions, participating bars were given the task of creating their own unique cocktail menus. Equator Bar at Sheraton Hotel, Bushpig Backpackers and Olives Bar and Restaurant were awarded with honorary plaques for their creativity.

The 10-day event featured exciting cocktail menus that were on offer at highly discounted prices throughout the week.
