Photos: River Rwizi rescued in Mbarara
Abahumuza Development Group (ADG) have together to rescue dying River Rwizi in Mbarara. They have joined hands and removed water Hyacinth and plastic waste from the river in a campaign dubbed ‘Save River Rwizi’.
The group has been working hard to save the river and organised a marathon last year only to be put off due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Seth Murari, one of the organizers said water is life and if they don’t save River Rwizi, Mbarara and surrounding areas in trouble.
