Padyere County in Nebbi District Member of Parliament hopeful Denis Olyeko Oryema was among the VIPs at Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations at Namugongo on Monday.
He looked like a super star as he entered the ceremonial venue.
Nebbi Catholic Diocese was tasked to lead this year’s celebrations at Catholic Shrine in Namugongo.
He was later seen among the VIPs welcoming the chief guest President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Oryema is among the contestants vying to represent Padyere County in the 12th Parliament come 2026.
He has been instrumental in supporting several projects in Padyere County.
He has also sponsored Nebbi Pilgrims back home hiring buses to take them.
