Oktoberfest 7th Edition Launched
In a remarkable shift from last year’s location at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, the highly anticipated Oktoberfest 2023 is set to take place at the heart of Kampala, Lugogo Cricket Oval. The announcement was made by Denis Asiimwe, the festival organizer, during the launch of the event at The Villa in Bukoto on Tuesday.
This year’s Oktoberfest promises to be an even grander affair, offering a vibrant fusion of culinary delights, refreshing beverages, electrifying music performances, and entertainment. Speaking about the event, Asiimwe stated, “This year’s edition will have a lot of musicality to it, evident in the strong lineup of artists that we are bringing.”
To ensure everyone has the chance to savor the festival’s offerings, gates will open at midday, allowing attendees to enjoy a delicious lunch as part of the show’s experience.
The main attractions of Oktoberfest 2023 will be the headlining performances by Leone Island’s Jose Chameleone and the sensational Cindy Sanyu. Additionally, the festival will feature a diverse range of artists, including Abeeka Band, Kohen Jaycee, Izabel Ras B, Dolv Gvng Chevank Bad Citizen, and many others, ensuring an unforgettable musical journey.
Oktoberfest is well-supported by several sponsors, notably Nile Breweries, who continue to champion this annual celebration.
