dfcu Bank would like to address the unfortunate incident that occurred on Thursday 10th January 2019 at dfcu Bank Soroti Branch. As a Bank that holds all its customers in high regard dfcu regrets the altercation involving three of its customers – one of whom is a Senior Government Official.
The incident resulted from a misunderstanding between the three parties during the process of obtaining services in the Banking hall. Subsequently the Government Minister lodged a complaint with the police resulting in the arrest of the two other parties involved.
Our responsibility as a Bank is to support the ongoing police investigations.
We would like to emphasize that the interests of all parties involved are of utmost importance and we are doing all we can to help bring the matter to an amicable resolution.
