NWSC wins best service delivery award at KACITA Awards
Over the weekend, NWSC was awarded The Best Government Institution In Service Delivery by the Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA), at the annual KACITA awards Gala.
The event themed “Embracing Diversity Amidst Sustainable Trade through Research and Awareness,”
This year, KACITA celebrated and recognized innovation and creativity, growth and diversity, excellence in service delivery, successful entrepreneurs, Industries, manufacturers and government agencies that have enabled this growth and development in the business sector.
For the past 50 years NWSC’s unwavering dedication has not only transformed the water and sanitation landscape by providing clean and reliable water supply to manufacturing industries and business communities but has become a beacon of hope for communities through providing affordable water for example installation of Psp’s, PPM, charged at low tariff; 25 UGX a jerrycan, aimed to serve the people in informal settlements, extension of water distribution system, connection of customers to sewer lines among other innovative technologies aimed to embrace good and quality service delivery to customers.
Amidst the applause, the award was handed over to NWSC team by the chairman of KACITA, Thaddeus Musoke Nagenda. The accolade stood tall, a beacon of customer-oriented brilliance in the vast sea of public services.
