NWSC hosts 79th AFWA conference
National Water and Sewerage Corporation is hosting the 79th African Water Association Scientific Council Meetings.
AFWA, formerly known as Union of African Water Suppliers (UAWS), is a professional association of establishments, enterprises and utilities operating in the areas of drinking water, sanitation and environment in Africa. AFWA has over 100 utilities members from some 40 countries across Africa.
Speaking at the event, NWSC MD Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha shared that NWSC was privileged to host the event. “This is our time to share utility success stories from Uganda and learn from other utilities in a bid to enhance service delivery in Uganda.”
The event and exhibition space were opened by the State Minister of Water Hon Ronald Kibuule at the NWSC International Resource Center Bugolobi.
