“Shame; It is only fair for you to pay your water bills if you have such an establishment. Stealing water denies other deserving customers a right to safe water. Customers who pay bills promptly have helped us extend safe water to over 174 towns across the country in just 3 years, Say No To Water Theft ,” NWSC posted.

In related news, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) regrets to inform its dear customers in Ishaka, Bushenyi, Kabwohe and the surrounding areas that the current low water pressure/no water situation is due to the prolonged dry spell in Bushenyi that has reduced the water levels at Nyaruzinga water source (water works). To solve this problem, NWSC has started work for the new Kitagata Water Project. This will help address this issue in the coming seasons. The Project was officially launched on Thursday August 12th 2016 and work should be complete by August 2017.
NWSC for now is working on various water interventions including equitable rationing schedules to serve its people. People in the area have been urged to use available water sparingly.
