NRM committee chairpersons agree on timely processing of government business

The Government Chief Whip Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has said the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) committee chairpersons and their deputies have agreed on building cohesion and timely processing of government business before parliament.

This was during a meeting between him and NRM designated Committee chairpersons and their deputies, NRM Whips of Accountability Committee Chairpersons and Caucus members.

He said the agreed on things will ensure government business is in line with National Development Plan III and NRM Manifesto.

“Today I held a meeting with NRM designated Committee Chairpersons, their Deputies, NRM Whips of Accountability Committees and Caucus Executive Members to discuss strategies of executing Government Legislative Agenda for FY 2021/22. We agreed on building cohesion, timely processing of government business before Parliament, and ensuring government business is in line with National Development Plan III and NRM Manifesto,” Thomas Tayebwa said.
