Miss Uganda 2019-2021, Oliver Nakakande, Unveils Inspirational Memoir “The Escape” at a Star-Studded Event in Kampala Sheraton Hotel

In a poignant and stirring ceremony held at the prestigious Kampala Sheraton Hotel on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, Oliver Nakakande, the esteemed Miss Uganda 2019-2021, unveiled her eagerly awaited book, “The Escape.” The event garnered resounding applause and enthusiasm from a captivated audience.

“The Escape” narrates Nakakande’s extraordinary journey from a life marked by hardship and abuse to one of fame and inner serenity, with her Miss Uganda title representing a pivotal moment in her life. All proceeds from book sales will support The Oliver Nakakande Foundation, providing counseling and support to young teenage mothers, offering them a fresh start in life.
