The Minister of State for Sports who also doubles as the MP for Ngariam County in Katakwi District, Hon. Peter Ogwang, has contributed $2000 towards saving the life of Cedric Babu who is seeking UGX 1.5bn for heart transplant.
The minister called for generosity in this cause and said everyone is a potential victim. He called on Ugandans to put humanity first regardless of their political affiliations.
“I have sent my humble contribution of $2,000 to support my brother, Cedric who is fighting for his life.
I urge fellow Ugandans to always put humanity first above our political affiliations. We are all potential victims of ill-health to and this calls for compassion, and empathy.
