Minister Ogwang cancels field Monitoring visits in Nansana after failure by technical staff to show up
The State Minister for Economic Monitoring in the President’s Office Hon. Peter Ogwang has cancelled out his field monitoring visits in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District after all the technical staff failed to show up.
The staff were supposed to answer queries related to shoddy works done under their supervision.

The Minister directed Police to take up the matter and have those in charge answer some questions.
“I had to cancel my field monitoring visits in Nansana Municipality this morning after all the technical staff failed to turn up to answer queries associated with some of the shoddy works done under their supervision. I have directed police to take up the matter,” Hon. Peter Ogwang said.
In related development, the minister was dissatisfied with the upgrading works of Kitooro Taxi Park in Entebbe Municipality.
A tune of about Shs8.6 billion was earmarked for this project.
However, even before it’s operationalization, cracks have developed on some buildings.
The Economic Monitoring minister added an action must be taken against the culprits.
