

Minister Lillian Aber says Denmark remains committed to supporting Uganda refugees response
The State Minister for Relief, Refugees and Disaster Preparedness Hon. Lillian Aber has revealed that Denmark remains committed to supporting Uganda Refugees Response service.
This was during a luncheon together with Hon. Hillary Onek, Asiimwe Douglas hosted by H.E. Margaret Otteskov at the Uganda Embassy in Denmark.
The Minister said they were also happy to learn about the interventions underway to support Uganda’s economy although the embassy needs immediate infrastructural rehabilitation.
The delegation also met Mr Ole Thonke Danish Undersecretary for Policy Development, Ms Birgitte Markussen, Director for Humanitarian affairs and Ms Katie Karlsen, Director for Africa and Policy Development who confirmed to them that Denmark remains committed to supporting Uganda refugees response.
