Both the prince and his father, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who are often seen wearing suits or traditional dress, were dressed in jeans and T-shirts for the journey.

A discreet entourage wearing plain clothes can be seen standing nearby in photos posted to social media, though the prince and his father appear to be perfectly content.

The Dubai royal family owns several properties in the UK, including the Longcross Estate in Surrey, said to be worth over £70m.
