Land Rover launches another Limited Range Rover called SV Golden Edition
After unveiling the Range Rover Sport Ultimate Edition, Land Rover has yet again launched an SV Golden Edition of the regular Range Rover. This is coming after the British company is set to unveil the 2022 model.
Well, the drawback is that this model is very very limited as only 5 will be built and it’s. exclusive for the Japanese market.
The “Golden Edition” was created by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) department, based on the Autobiography trim. As you can guess by the name, it is packed with features combining high-performance, luxury, and unique design touches. Weirdly, it is based on the regular Range Rover rather than the more opulent long-wheelbase variant.
As the name suggests, the SV Golden Edition’s exterior is jazzed up with gold trim, including a tailgate finisher in gold. The primary paint colour is an SV-bespoke blue, and it combines with the gold trim to create quite a commanding presence. Other unique touches include a different front bumper finisher and side accent graphics. The Range Rover rides on large 22-inch wheels with a seven-split-spoke design and a contrast diamond-turned finish.
The colour black dominates the interior with ebony perforated semi-aniline leather seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, plus another touchscreen for the climate controls. It also has a cooler box on the centre console to store your food/drinks.
Equipment includes a head-up display, air ionization technology, activity key, plus the Driver Assist Pack which brings features like the adaptive cruise control with steering assist, the 360-degree parking aid, and the clear exit monitor.
Power comes from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that outputs 558hp and 700 Nm of torque and of course, the car gets all the off-road goodies too.
