Keddi Foundation kicks off Western Uganda charity tour in Kyegegwa

Keddi Foundation chief Hon Steven Keddi Zuluba as part of his birthday celebrations, kicked off western tour with charity activities in the beautiful Kyegegwa District in the western part of Uganda, extending his arms of support and love to those in need through his Keddi Foundation.

As part of the ongoing commitment to making a positive impact, Keddi Foundation CEO Hon. Steven Keddi Zuluba announced his plans to extend his birthday celebrations by spreading joy with refugees in the region. It was a day filled with compassion and solidarity as him and his team stormed the hills of Western Uganda, visiting several refugee camps to offer their support.

His first stop was at Angle Care School, donating scholastic materials to the pupils. From pens and books to pencils and pads, Keddi Foundation team was thrilled to see the smiles on the faces of the pupils who make up 90% of the refugee population, as they received these much-needed resources.

But the journey didn’t stop there. After Angle Care School, Keddi Foundation continued their mission by visiting other refugee camps, where they distributed food and other essentials to the locals.

“It was a humbling experience to witness the resilience and strength of the community in the face of adversity. Today reminded us of the power of unity and compassion. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you to everyone who supports the Keddi Foundation’s mission. Your generosity and kindness truly make the world a better place,” Hon. Keddi Steven Zuluba said.

After their impactful visit to Angels’ School, where they provided support to over 5000 refugee students, the team set out to another camp where over 2000 vulnerable refugees were in desperate need. Their resilience despite adversity moved Keddi Foundation team deeply.

“In the face of despair, we offered more than just essentials like food, soap, salt, and pads. We offered hope. We listened, we talked, and together, we changed mindsets. We reminded them that they are not alone, and that brighter days are ahead,” Keddi Foundation team.

As Keddi Foundation continues its journey this week in Western Uganda, let’s remember the power of compassion and solidarity. Together, we can make a difference.
