Businessman and politician Hon. Jimmy Lukwago aka Kira Young has delivered a special new year message to the people of Kira Municipality ahead of 2026. Below is his full message shared on his social media platforms.
“Praise be to God! I’m grateful for the gift of life and the blessings. He’s given to the people of Kira Municipality in 2025. I’m thankful for the genuine friends and supporters who’ve stood by me.
Wishing you all a happy New Year! Especially to my NUP family, aspirants who got party tickets – I’m wishing you a landslide victory in 2026! Let’s rally behind HE Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu for president.
Though I didn’t get the ticket, I’m committed to NUP and ready to campaign for any of our candidates who invite me. As it says in Romans 12:12, “Be patient in tribulation, constant in prayer.” Let’s forgive, persevere, and keep pushing forward.
