Frank K Tumwebaze calls on all government agencies to mainstream ICT in their work
The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has called on all government departments and agencies to put emphasis on ICT. He said the government there is need for government to enable legislation that compels all government ministries, departments and agencies to mainstream ICT in their work plans.
“Today, I opened a two day joint sector working group meeting by the ministry of Ministry of Information Technology and National Guidance and partners to assess our sectoral performance & future plans. I have called for the need to have enabling legislation that compels all Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to mainstream ICT’s in their work plans. I have also interacted with members of National Association of Broadcasters at their AGM today. We talked government -media relations and how to build a press that is driven by issue-based conversations ¬ political mediocrity. Thank you Kin Kariisa and team for the invite.
