The biggest, maddest and funkiest teen show went down at Kati Kati on Saturday 17th September 2017 as the Fly teen movement was being launched.

The movement under the theme ‘Do Your Thing’ attracted a large number of teens from all walks of life; schools and neighborhoods around Kampala.

FLY provided the teens with a once in a life time of unscripted and raw one on one interactions with celebrities like Mun*G, Monalisa of Mona Faces, Martha Kay, McKenzie Bryan and MC Talha.

All the celebrities gave each individual time to speak to them and learn from them. It was nothing like we had seen before with teen showcasing their talents for their idols.

They also engaged in activities like foosball, soccer, board games among others.
Mona revealed how she pushed for her dreams and made it big;
“Two years ago, no one cared about makeup as a serious thing. Look at me now?” said Monalisa.

When asked how many celebrities she has worked on, Mona was quick to say, most of them if not all. Mun G also confessed how it is the fans that made him whom he is today and not himself.

Eddy Kenzo’s performance was just over the edge and overwhelmingly engaging to the teen crowds that turned up.

Not even the rain stood in Kenzo’s way, the generous Musuza gave out his shades, took off his shoes (he did not give those out though), rolled his pants and jumped into the crowd amidst the rain.

He performed jams like Soraye, Maria Roza, Viva Africa, his famous Sitya Loss and other bangers among others.

It was a successful teen event and we can’t wait to see how Ugandan teens do their thing.
