Excitement as Airtel Uganda Rewards First ‘Mujje Tulumbe’ car winner

Airtel Uganda has today handed over a brand new Toyota Premio to a lucky subscriber as part of the on-going Mujje Tulumbe consumer promotion.

Ian Bukenya, a 28 year cashier at Jose Restaurant and Take away located at Ben Kiwanuka Street, was awarded the car by Airtel Uganda’s Ms. Remmie Kisakye, amidst ululations and excitement from his friends and co-workers.

After receiving his new car, Bukenya thanked Airtel Uganda for supporting the Uganda Cranes and for always rewarding their subscribers. “I did not expect to win a car simply by putting airtime on my phone,” he said.

While handing over the car keys, Ms. Remmie Kisakye, Airtel Uganda Head of Brand and communications congratulated Bukenya and encouraged all Airtel subscribers to continue recharging and stand a chance to win in this promotion “We launched this consumer promotion to mobilize all Ugandans to come and show support for our national team and to reward all our loyal subscribers who are consistently using Airtel,” she said.

Bukenya is not the only lucky winner from the “Mujje Tulumbe” campaign. Joseph Akorio, a business man from Naguru, Nakayenga Aisha Lukia, a student, Kayondo Deo a teacher from Kayunga and many others have won cash and tickets to Uganda Cranes  AFCON qualifier game against Comoros.
