Entertainers laud NBS After 5 for supporting their industry as the show marks the 5th Anniversary

Celebrated entertainers from across the world have started pouring in their congratulatory messages for NBS After 5, Uganda’s leading entertainment TV show that has marked 5 years of revolutionalizing the entertainment industry.

Nameless’ warming message was followed by his wife and singer, Wahu, Chosen Blood, Sasha Vybez, Zulitums, Mosh Mavoko, Gabriel K, Recho Rey, just to mention but a few.

Hosted by legendary Ugandan TV show hosts, Douglas Lwanga and MC Kats, completed with premium Ugandan DJs, DJ Roja, and DVJ Mercy Pro, After 5 is a daily TV music show that airs on NBS Television, primarily showcasing Ugandan music and providing a much-needed platform to promote new acts.

It is a 2-hour show is themed by the day; Fresh Mondays, Request Tuesday, Pearl Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Turn-Up Friday.

Away from regularly surpassing its monthly financial targets, the show and its on-air talents have positively affected communities, made new stars, strengthened the sense of belonging and connection among its viewers, among others.
As such, the show has grown a tribe of followers that relate to it, and a month of memories and appreciation of their support, especially through giving back to them, is a worthy way to celebrate this milestone, and in turn, offering potential partners a touchpoint and the masses with all the unique content that is prepared through the month.

As part of the celebrations of the 5 years of existence, After 5 will be giving back to the community by donating mosquito nets, give out hampers, and running a blood drive, among others.

The campaign will run till the end of April.
