The new Minister of State for Disaster Preparedness, Relief and Refugees Hon. Aber Lillian has today held a useful meeting with Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) Management team.
Hon. Lillian discussed how to strengthen the auxiliary role with URCS which includes first aid services and disaster management.
“Held an insightful meeting with the Secretary General, Uganda Red Cross Society Senior Management Team this afternoon.The meeting was aimed at discussing how we can strengthen the auxiliary role with URCS which includes but not limited to first aid services, disaster management,” Hon. Lillian tweeted after the meeting.
In related development, Hon.Lillian Aber said the 21st Comprehensive Refugee Response Forum(CRRF) meeting held on Thursday last week at Protea Hotel signified the commitment from government and her partners towards hosting Refugees in Uganda.
