Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa hails King Oyo on issues of HIV & Environmental conservation

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has hailed His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV for his efforts in fighting against HIV/AIDS as well as to make sure there is environmental conservation.

The King has also been hailed for his efforts in promoting Agriculture in his kingdom in particular and the country in general.

The Deputy Speaker said this during the 28th Coronation Anniversary yesterday at Karuzika Hill, Fort Portal.

He described His Majesty as an inspiration to the youth and his subjects on issues of unity, fighting against HIV/AIDS, environmental conservation among others.

He thanked God who has protected him, the Queen Mother and H.E Yoweri Museveni, who have been strong pillars for His Majesty.

“On the invitation of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, I joined the people of Tooro Kingdom to celebrate the 28th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty at Karuzika Hill, Fort Portal. His Majesty is an inspiration to the youth and his subjects on issues of unity, fighting against HIV/AIDS, environmental conservation among others. I thank God who has protected him, the Queen Mother and H.E Yoweri Museveni, who have been strong pillars for His Majesty. Long Live Your Majesty, Long Live Tooro Kingdom,” Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said.
