Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa calls for more investments from Germany

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has called for more Germany investments in Uganda.
The Deputy Speaker made the remarks as he welcomed and hosted a delegation of Germany Members of Parliament accompanied by representatives from Kas Uganda who are here for a visit.
The two parties discussed trade and investment opportunities available in Uganda and other issues of mutual interest between Uganda and Germany.
Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa commended the Germany government for the good bilateral relations and support they have offered to the Government and the people of Uganda through their investment, especially in the energy and agricultural sectors.
The Deputy Speaker urged them to widen their scope because Uganda has a wide range of sectors where Foreign Direct Investments can thrive.
KAS Uganda extended their hearty gratitude to Rt Hon  Thomas Tayebwa, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament for hosting a delegation of MPs from Germany.
“This adds momentum towards strengthening strategic alliances between Uganda and Germany in trade, investment, & diplomacy,” Kas Uganda tweeted.
