Departed News Anchor Rosemary To Be Buried This Wednesday

Fallen former WBS and NTV Uganda news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa is to be laid to rest this Wednesday at her ancestral home in Kanoni, Masaka district. Rosemary died of Adrenal cortex carcinoma cancer on Sunday at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya  a day after Shs 110m were raised for her specialised treatement. She was flown to Nairobi on Saturday.

She was diagnosed with the rare cancer last year and has been undergoing treatment at Mulago cancer institute.  Her body arrived on Monday night and spent the night at a funeral home. Her funeral Service was held at Christ the King Church today (Tuesday). Her  body will then be transported to Kanoni, Masaka where a vigil will be held Today night. Rosemary will be buried on Wednesday at 2pm. May her soul RIP
