David Jay to perform at STV Uganda event at Pearl of Africa

Denmark based Gambian music star David Jay is in Kampala to perform at an event sponsored by STV Uganda this Saturday.

While addressing press conference at Pearl of Africa Hotel today, the star said he is honored and excited to be in Uganda to perform at an all invite show sponsored by STV Uganda owned by tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga.

STV Uganda which will be an entertainment and educative station with 70% broadcast in English will officially launch in April this year.

SK Mbuga, the station’s proprietor said the station is mostly targeting the young generation. The station will also be on DStv, StarTimes, Azam. The set up is in final stages.

On employment, the tycoon said the station will groom and employee its own staff. “We want to groom our own, we aren’t employing those already experienced,” he said. Watch the space!!!
